Default Pump takes to long to load

Why does my brand new dominator pump take so long to load when i first put in the water,I leave it in forward when backing it in but still starts to overheat before the water starts to circulates.....

Depending on the steepness of your launch an air bubble gets trapped at the top of the bowl and will not allow the pump to load, this is usually real bad with a droop snoot and diverter. Try backing in with the reverse bucket wide open if this does not solve the problem there is a small pressure releif that is available that we install on the top of the bowl thus release's the air bubble and allows the pump to load.

Hey greg is this someting you can tap and install on mine at the river...easy way for you to make a few bucks and/or bud lites..or a nice big hug?

I have to sit in the water for sometimes a minute or so to get it to go on my setup....

I know how that goes next thing you know you want an oil change, a couple bloody mary's and the last time you sat down for breakfast you didn't leave until 1 o'clock and had me launch your boat, wipe it down before you would take it on the river!

Im sure you got it fixed my now but if you havent. If you have a diverter try THis cause mine does the samething thought there was something wrong. before you back it into the water put diverter all the way up and open reverse bucket also some reason it burbs the pump as it goes into the lake. Works everytime for me.
