You are about ready to purchase a boat with a 12je pump.Yes a Place Diverter is in your future. I've seen that boat before but I just can't remember the name. I would expect that after installing a Place Diverter and at least 400 hp you should get real close to your goal of 60 mph. Remember there are a number of things you need to check before purchasing a used boat. Hook in the bottom, condition of the pump, any sign's of dry rot in the floor's and interior, condition of the engine. A lake test would be nice before the purchase. Lastly condition of the trailer make sure you can make it home with what you got. Tire's,lights and condition of the wheel bearings.
