    Default 1982 Eliminator Sprint

Hey Greg. I bought this boat from mouzer(mike) last summer and he said that you built the motor and pump about seven years ago. I got the motor dialed in and it runs awesome. Mouzer told me that it is a 468 ls6 block and the pump has an ss impeller. Was wondering if you remember anything else about the motor and pump. Thanks.

That's just the second motor I've seen with the carbs in line, bowl to bowl. Mine is the first. I don't know why they do that .

I asked Mouser if he knew the original owner and I would try to look up and to see if we still had his name in the computer. No luck. I will say this you have done a remarkable job of cleaning that boat up it looks great. If I remember anything about that boat I will let you know.

Back in the day Holley made a 6109 750 cfm double pumper carb. This was before Enderle linkage was available so mounting sideways was a real hassle. As you can see they had the small float bowls so the installation was very simple. The only draw back was that changing the jets was a real hassle.

Thanks Greg. Just gotta put some new carpet in and and get the rub rail re-anodized then it will look brand new. I really like the colors on the boat. Ya let me know if you remember anything about the motor or pump. I really appreciate it.
    Thanks again
