    Default Shockwave 21' Skier setup

Greg, I have a 1999 21' Shockwave Skier with a Dominator pump and no ride plate. I have been playing around with droops, straight snoots and wedges, but what is the best setup for my heavy boat? I am running a BBC with about 520 HP and spinning a "AB" mag bronze impeller, I also have a place diverter but a stock intake grate. I thought you may have run into this setup since your shop is around the corner from Shockwave and I think Bob told me you guys were building some boats together. I dont have the luxury of stopping by your shop as I am in the Phoenix area.

    Thanks, Jay

I have had good luck with a full droop with a 3 degree upside down wedge .ski grate, and if you fell like pulling the pump put an inducer in it, you will really enjoy the hole shot.

Thanks Greg, I appreciate the response. I am going back to the long droop and 3 degree upside down as we speak. There are so many of these (21', heavy, open bows) out there I figure you have messed with a few. Gotta get ready for multiple trips to Parker this summer.
