    Hello
    fresh built 460
    30 over new pistons/forged dished
    polished crank stock crank
    ported stock heads dual spring/roller rockers
    holley 750 torquer 2 460 intake
    comp cam lifter set hydraulic 574 intake/576 ex
    boat is 07 liberator tunnel with A impeller pl diverter,snoop
    what do you recommend for oil we live in Cincinnati
    and break in oil if any?
    The shop says rotella but they are not a marine facility
    also what timing should I run /hei dizzy
    and what RPM do you think this will run

    What kind of power do you think you are going to end up with? If you can make 500 honest hp the boat should run in the low to mid 70's without much problem. As far as the oil what does your engine builder recommend. Lucas makes a break 'in oil that we use and then I would run 20/50 for up and down river use.

    Thanks Greg ,boat ran 80mph with the old 460 that had much blowby and milky oil,same cam set up but heads were not ported my so called performance shop cracked heads putting the seats in
    and after two season motor finally gave way he rated it at 430 hp
    new motor will be 450 hp or a little more.

    Just looking for top end (no skiers or a boat load of people just the two of us)
    Timing should be?
