    Default Canyon Tunnel Jet ?'s

I've bought a '91 20' Canyon (according to the HIN- XJG) Tunnel Jet project and have a few questions. First, I never knew Canyon MADE one, but it appears identical to a Placecraft or Ultra tunnel. Someone spent a lot of time and money rigging this originally, but I'd like an idea what to expect as far as ride quality, handling, etc before getting it wet. I won't be racing it, just taking it out for a putt in the afternoon or on relatively smooth water.
It has a setback Berk (unknown impeller), dual quad tunnel ram BBC, Rewarder OT's, shoe and ride plate, Place diverter, and a droop that's wedged down. I know I'm not giving much detail, but until I'm in the middle of the resto I won't have much more detail to provide.
    Suggestions, warnings?

Ok here we go to the best of my knowledge Roger Way was good buddies with Carter Reed Canyon boats and later on Ultra boats some how Roger got a set of molds out of Placecraft and had Carter build a few of the boats . From what I understand there was some small difference's in the other Placecrafts but nothing else that would cause a problem. Actually I have worked on another one with a blown big block and the boat runs great.

That makes some sense of what I've seen trying to research this. The deck looks like some Ultra tunnels I've seen, not like the PC raised decks. Sounds like it'll be a fun Sunday boat...
