Default Greg need a little help with HIN# ID

on verifing a Daytona .Person selling it thinks its a 92 Daytona, but I think its a Liberator by the looks of it.( no paper work on it ) I had a Liberator and it has the same cap and design ,also the trailer looks like the one that Liberator was making ( heavy duty "C" channel w/ triple leaf spring axels. Usually they used tortion axels, but because this has 3 axels they went with leaf. just a guess )

My Question is , what would the HIN # start with if it is a Daytona and/or Liberator. Or maybe my ? is how would I go about findining this kind of info out.

I do have the HIN# and the trailer VIN# if this helps.

last thing, the Manufacture name on the trailer 5A Manufacturing Co. I have never heard of this name on the West coast, which also led me to believe that this might be a Liberator.

    thanks for the help

The HIN(not "BIN") for an Eliminator from SoCal is ELB. There were some made under license in Wisconsin(?) but not sure of the HIN for those.
    HIN for Liberator is AAI.

Hey maybe you might know how to tell which Liberator made it, Texas or Florida?

The "H" in HIN is for "hull"

I knew the ELB for Eliminator because I have one.

The info on Liberator I got from the Coast Guard website: Liberator Boats
There's a phone number there. You might give them a call for more info.

I do seem to recall a guy posting a lot of Liberator stuff over on HotBoat years ago. I think he was in Florida but I got the feeling he was a dealer, not the manufacturer.
