    Default 12JG nozzle housing

Greg. I have a 1990 Cole 20' ss bowrider, 454 stock, delta pad bottom. I have added a river style loader( from you) worked great. Increased speed from 49 to 54. I then added a ( add a shoe and ride plate). That solved a bunch of porpising, towing, and handling problems. Increased speed from 54 to 57. As of now my loader hangs down 3/4", my shoe hangs down 3/8". (Seems to work, can I do better?) Since I have added a ride plate my reverse is lacking and I can no longer use my rudder. I would like to use my rudder since I spent so much time polishing it. I thought about using a drop snoot ( maybe a short one?) I love the way my boat handles now. I only need to move my place diverter back about 2". I know a delta pad works differently than a V bottom. I don't think I need as much lift since I ride on top the water. Should I shoot for a 0 degree pin angle? Should I go a straight or drop on the nozzle? I don't want to mess up my geometry. Thank you, Kimball

    Default AT drop snoot

    Hello, Greg
It finally stopped raining long enough for me to get my boat out. I put on a 1" drop AT snoot. I gained about 1 mph more. It did lift the boat more out of the water, moved my water break line about 2' from back. I did not wedge the snoot. I figure I have a 4* up pin angle now. On my 20' Cole delta pad, is my 3/4 deep angle bar loader now slowing me down? Should I cut it to match my 3/8" shoe. So far with my pump additions I have managed to gain 9 mph. Is my boat done? And will I have to work on HP now? I was hoping to gain more from my droop. Hate to tear into motor when I runs so well( reliable). Thank You, Kimball
