    how far forward should the motor be it a light weight 19 daytona, 740 horse, naturally aspirated with a set back pump, need starting point, hull weight aprox 400-450lbs, maybe lighter

    Are you running an iron engine w/ alium heads? What is your weight? Have you actually take your boat and confirmed the weight? 100 lbs in the wrong place can hurt your performance quite a bit .Greg

    yes iron engine aluminum heads, I weight 304, have not weighed the boat, but it is a light layup
