    Default Basset Header Cooling Question

    I need some help/advice please:

I had a Banderlog Water Injection Valve plumbed into my water system, but for some unknown reason it stopped working.

My system is plumbed as in the Diagram below.(Banderlog diagram)

    My question is as follows:

Will the system work if I replace the Banderlog Valve with the pressure T supplied with the headers and control the water with the gate valve that is installed in the line that used to control the water pressure to the Electronic Valve?

Re-plumb the system as per the normal header cooling diagram.

Yeah just put the Basset T in place of the Banderlog. Make sure to start your testing with the gate valve that goes to the T almost shut all the way (maybe 1/8 to 1/4 turn open max). Then try it out, opening it all little at a time. If its open too far, you'll have water sneaking through at idle.

I plumbed mine using a Moroso oil valve and an RPM switch! You can set the valve to open at any given RPM or use a manual switch to open and close! Just another option! Your plumbing would stay almost the same!

Haven't used the banderlog system before so can't comment why its not working. I use the bassett system with the T-valve as shown but with a manual shutoff at the driver seat. Always concerned about reversion. I like seeing the metering valve used to regulate 15 to 20 psi going into the engine.

Sounds good on your adjusting a little at a time on the gate valve. Adjusting the gate valve on the water dump creating back pressure to open the T-Valve is an adjustment that needs to be worked with also.
