    Default gel coat restoration help...

The majority of the gel coat on my boat is great...but the trim that has flake in it is faded and cloudy in some spots...ive tried light sanding and polishing but only helped a little...it looks great wet...should I clear over it?? Or any other suggestions ?? Thanks you!

I will get some pics...its looks like the flake itself is faded under the surface? As far as I can tell

I was told that clear coat can make the flake have a yellow tint to it.
