    Default Its about F'n time

I finally finished it again. 9 months in the making, I had the bottom done and put on a jet-a-way, and a new motor. Its sits here in river ski attire and in race attire. Forgot the camera at home this week while we were at the river. But it sure is fun

Had everything polished even the heads. this is my third motor in this boat. And hoping I can go a couple years with out something stupid happening like the last 2.

Now that's steppin-up ....what fuel are you running and what rpm did it make peak power ? looks like the old style TF tr?

    Is that 572 by going 4.5 x 4.5 ?

    Very nice combo........

Going fast is only half the fun ... what you make go
    fast is the other half.

John, what ever fuel I'm running, it's $$ compared to pump gas. But c14 it will be. Never had a race gas only deal. Our dyno#'s it hovered between 980 to 1008hp at 6600 and any ware from 828 to 840tq at 6200 depending on the humidity and air. Most pulls were were done between 19 to 45 o/o hum. Had only one pull over 1000hp so I am sticking with that. It is the old TR but we thought it would do better on torque. We tried a single trick flow manifold with a 1250. It pulled to 948hp and 803 pn torque. We worked 2 days on the dyno trying a few different things. But the goal was to get to a 1000hp. The cam we chose was milder then old cam .050 with 114.0 ls right around 760 lift. It probably could use a wilder profile. But I am happy where it is. I need to take it to the track but it felt real good for only a 4 or 5 second blast.

Seems like 3 years. Yours is turning out bitchen. I have to have the seats re-done. Since we moved the engine 4" inches forward, the little blocker that covers the front of the engine doesn't fit any more. So the back seats will be 1 person each. Where at times we were able to sit 6 in the boat. That's ok with me.
