    Hello,
Im looking at buying a jet boat. Anyone know what the fuels tank capacity is on an 89 advantage open bow jet boat and how far /how long does that last.

    Thanks.

I worked there then, what in the hell is a 18 tunnel runner open bow?

There should be manufacture tags on the tops of the fuel tank that will give you the capacity. My guess would be about 12-15 per side on the 19.

Mpg or avg time/ distance will depend on your right foot.

Is this the hull you're looking at? I know this one is an outboard but and a hard deck but it should be the one if it's a 19 that's being sold. It was the only 19 in the line up back then. The owner of the shop got these molds and 2 others from a land fill. Don't know who originally tooled them up and and threw them away and we never used the other 2 sets but this one sold now and then. It's got a delta pad bottom on it.

All the specs that I listed, came from the brochure. I've never been able to put more than 36 gals in my 20' Classic.
I believe the 18' Tunnel Runner was Rogers semi flat bottom and the mold went to ARE Marine in Il

I know what the 18 Tunnel Runner is (Dragstar) I was just giving you a hard time thinking someone would make it an open bow out of one.
