    Default oil filter bypass

about to start up my engine refresh and wonder what filters would be good. i hear stay away from fram.
i want a non bypass filter and usually get the largest one i can find. i have a remote filter so space isnt an issue.
my previous filter was a Napa gold 1773. napa is preferred as i have a modest company discount there, but not manditory.

    this is in BBF

    thanks
    Joe

Napa filters are made by wix and are good filters but i like the mobile one filters.

thanks sleeper. i didnt read all the attachments, but i did read all 25 pages. i feel confident that the filter i was running was sufficient (napa gold 1773). i will be using a bt251 for start up and also because i need to order in the b253. i will be replacing the bt251 when the 253 is delivered. this was one of the most extensive threads ive seen in any forum that was primarily responsibility of one user, that wasnt bias or promoting product. thank you for your time and $$$ involved in not only exploring so many options, but also taking the time to type it out to share with the community.

PS where are the graphs that people were asking about near the end??
