    Default 455 olds logs

    I was woundering on my water logs if i could re route the way the water exits the excuast and just run a hose through the hull for the exiting water to make the jet louder

    the better.
    But, no, if you want louder, go OT.
    Things are plumbed for a reason.

    Don't find out the hard way. Do you have a big rubber hose connecting the logs to the exaust tips? If no water, you will burn them up.

    This is very true, don't ask me how I know..... Although you can't totally eliminate the water flow, you could redirect some of it overboard.... It is a fine line, but possible. As far as LOUDER??? Not sure where you run your boat but the noise pass most through transom exhausts get could be a thorn in your side if some Lake Ranger wanted to get shitty about noise...It's hard to muffle these systems with anything except water flow....
