    Default Shifter Location

Hey guys I have another question...

I am building custom seats and my shifer won't work in its original location. I am thinking of moving it to the floor. I have a pedal for the throttle so I will only need to ise it at the docks. Has any one done this and are there any rigging pics floating around? Thanks in advance.

    do you mean F-N-R shifter?
i dont see why you couldnt. with the foot throttle it shouldnt really be an issue on location. as long as it was still easily accessible in an emergency situation.

I've seen plenty of boats with the f/r levers mounted in the stringers. I personally like it. It keeps it out of ur way when u climb in and out of the boat

Yes this will just be for docking situations. Foward, neutral and reverse. The boat isnt a flll stringer boat so i was hoping someone could show how they mounted or what they fabbed up. I just want it to look clean. I was thinking of building a box from ss or alum to resemble my diverter shifter case.
