    Default Gale Banks Questions

Still piecing together an old Gale Banks twin turbo system. I have scoured the threads on here and found a ton of good info....thanks all.
Can anyone tell me what heads were used in these BBC packages as well as the camshaft specs?

I am still in need of a carb box too.

    Thanks!

I set of good oval ports prob would work and get a custom grind from bullet. Is a carb box a must have? Why not use a carb hat? Ive only seen one banks in person.

Banks was buying crate motors from GM and they had 990 heads on them. Engle TCS 7 flat tappet was the cam of choice of Race Arrow and PFM, not sure about Banks. Should use inconel or super alloy exhaust valves.

I actually have a slightly used, about 10 hrs, Engle TCS 7 sitting on the shelf. Probably better than a new one since the core is about 15 yrs. old when they were still making good cores. You couldn't give me a flat tappet cam for free that I would put in anything I was building.

I have the same intercooler and i know this is the larger kit. I have seen some with 2 Holleys and some with 1 Holley. I wonder what the difference is? I would rather run a single dominator rather than 2 carbs, no idea of what size though.

    Default Some parts needed

I still need a carb box. Anyone? I would aslso like to round up some original Gale Banks valve covers. Need gaskets for the turbos also, any know where I can purchase those along with one of the tubes that goes between the turbo to the intercooler?
