Default What impeller do I have?

Has anyone heard of an Aggressor A, B, D aluminum impeller? I broke my impeller two weeks ago and I finally got it apart. I thought for sure that I had an A cut impeller. It has A stamped on the left side and B and D stamped on the right side. My guess is that it is an older aggressor. This is my first jet boat so I am learning a lot. Ill post some pictures if that helps. Thanks for your guys help in advance.

My guess is, it started life off as a A then cut to a B then cut to a D.
More then likely your running a D impeller.
No matter what u can always take material off your impeller and make it smaller, ie (A to B) but you can never put it back on, ie (B to A)
The real experts will chime in shortly.

I never thought of it being cut in to a D. I have a stock 454 my guess would be 300 hp. Correct me if im wrong. I see around 4800 to 5000 rpms at full throttle. It comes out of the hole really good.

it is not a "d." that appears to be an aggressor A that is missing a big chunk. The bd probably stands for berkley design or something. if it had been cut ud see a reveal between the blade and the back edge. as you can see yours goes all the way to the edge. if it was a AA it would actually go past that edge sorta hanging off.

Well 300hp is not going to turn a A impeller to 5k unless you pump is as warn as a $2 hooker.

I spun a stainless A to 5200 with 525hp with a pretty well set up pump.

So did it spin 5k before or after throwing a blade?
Why would the impeller have a D stamped on it if it was a A?

Yeah it definitly would turn 5000 rpm. I was confused as well. I thought maybe it was just an older style of impeller.

Why anyone would stamp letters into a impeller that have nothing to do with the size of the impeller is wild, especially specific letters that correlate with specific sizes.....
    Oh well.

    Is that a bahner?

a pump that has poor tolerances will spin at a higher rpm and give you a false rpm reading. id recommend buying an impeller and ware ring from a shop like b1 or mpd or whoever is near you and have the set the correct tolerances. i wouldn't imagine youd want anything smaller than an A if this is a family ski boat that your going to be tubing the kids or towing a skier with.
