There were 3 boat crashes this weekend and yes Ron Baker was one of them. He made a simple pass, started to shut down and in less than a blink of an eye he hit a roller and the boat did a barrel roll in the air and hit VERY hard! There was some fiberglass floating in the water but from my angle boat was complete. She bobbed for about 10 seconds and she was gone. Ron on the other hand made it and glad he is still with us cause it could have gone the other way for sure. Still in total dis belief that it even happened. Ron is a lill banged up but in good spirits.

Wow, tough weekend on boats. We lost one up here as well with they hit a submerged log and got pitched out. Thankfully lifejackets saved them but the boat suffered severe damage and sunk. It was retrieved with some huge holes in the bottom.
    Be safe everybody........

Wow, just heard about this. Sounds like Ron is OK and Im glad to hear it. If he crashed at Burnt Corral it ranges up to 85 feet depending on where he was. My friends Cole is still down there after a hard crash years ago and a helicopter ride out. Also was there when the guy was killed Labor Day 2000. Seen a few others go down over the years. Just be safe there, the place can eat boats.

    What were the other crashes?
