Default Apology to mike declark / NJBA

After reading thru 11 pages of expression from the boating world. I feel that what I was trying to get across got lost in my typing. I was not trying to bad mouth the NJBA or MIKE DECLARK but it was taken that way, in the last two years mike has done a outstanding job with this club to take it to where it is today, as a person he's been a friend of mine and I hope that continues ! Some times we as people take something totally out of context and in this case I had done so. Mike I hope in time you can see it in your heart to call me a friend again. And I hope to change myself to be a better person and final get rid of the high kaboom name. Most of you won't know this but this boat was built in the memory of my father and the drive to make this boat to never be forgotten has always been the driven force ! I feel I have gone about in the wrong way and hope to bring a more positive out look to HIGHNOON... Thank you for reading and again SORRY .

P.s. I'am bob deal with it...... Lol

Lol) wish you the best with your boat and whatever power is in it this week! Ha-Haaaaa! All the while being safe as you do it! Keep both hand on the wheel! Lol you might get a real dose of bad medicine otherwise! Lol good old days at 6th avenue! See ya this weekend and I'll be sure to check the temperature of you beers!

Seems there was a lot of misconstruction in a few threads, Bob has made it very clear that NJBA membership is the greatest club in the country and he is proud to be part of keeping club that way, He is looking forward to the remaining races to show his support and thank all volunteers that dedicate there free time to providing an organized event where he can take his new package to to see how it will run.

Thank You for the call Bob and your right with all of our membership support NJBA will continue to give us a place to run our pro classes. There is no where else in the country where you can run a hot rod like yours with out keeping it under 7.70

where is Mitch "Blackfoot" Buchanon aka Hotfoot, aka Trucker these days? I haven't seen him since he sprinted across the sandbar to fish Bobby out of the drink.

No BOB I remember it was a NJBA cosanctioned event,

Hopefully clubs like ADBA, CDBA will adopt our rule book about the mph rule, but at this time we are the only club in the country running mph, 2 weeks ago was an NJBA/CDBA event using a combination of the 2 Rulebooks ,

Im healing up slow but good thank you for asking

in addition to an NJBA/CDBA race, it was also a Lucas Oil Division 1 co-sanctioned event, which isn't necessarily relevent to the point of your first post.

my objection to your comment was the "no one else.." part. for the entire year, and probably going forward, the CDBA rules, through the Lucas Oil Rulebook, utilize MPH instead of 7.70 as the no capsule limit. There is no 7.70 rule at CDBA under the Lucas Oil Rulebook, hasn't been all year, as noted in writing by Andy at the drivers meeting. ANY Lucas Oil affiliate club can adopt that same rule for their club races if the club chooses to.

glad to hear you are mending. it was a big blow. taking it slow is probably a good thing. also a good thing they made you stay down and go to the hospital instead of standing up and walking over to your trailer....

MPH rules are not in the rulebook Lucas or CDBA.

    Default Lucas Rules ???

    5.5 Excessive ET -Open Boats
No open boat, on any pass, will be allowed to run quicker than 7.70 sec. ET on a ¼ mile, or 5.70 sec ET on a 1000’ course. The first offense at any event will result in a warning. Further offenses shall be dealt with on an individual basis, with disqualification an option, by the Sanction Supervisor and or Race Director. Such disqualification will be for the duration of that event only. Repeated violations of this rule can result in disqualification in future events.

That was done for co-points races with NJBA only.CDBA has no classes that you can run under 7.70 except for PM and TAH which are capsule Classes
