    Default water headers with baffles??

i have a set of OTT headers in my boat. its been real loud since i put them on. i figured thats just what it was supposed to be like. there a lil bit quieter with water going through but not much. with out water however they radiate temps close to the sun and it makes for an unpleasant trip. i want to keep the water but add mufflers or baffles or such to reduce the noise but keep the look. can i have both water and mufflers? i didnt know i wanted this until i recently went on a ride in a through transom header boat and realized i could hold a conversation without screaming and also my ears werent ringing for a half hour on the beach.

Will be the first to admit I have irreversible hearing loss from long term exposure from these (headers) as well as a number of other issues (gunshots, hammers, tools etc) however I love the "noise" its music to me

im noticing a slight loss in my left ear. the boat music is new to me but ive been in the metal shop with far less than adequate hearing protection for most of 10 years. also competition stereo was a hobby for a long time as well. dont get me wrong i love the noise of a top fuel running by, but im just curious about long term and also for my passengers as well.

I have baffels in my OTT headers with water, have to where we boat. still loud but you can almost hear the radio. I dont have many problems with this setup except for the bassette TEE gets stuck closed sometimes, so I started to just rebuild it w/ new check ball and spring every couple years and now it works great...

I'm usually with my ol lady and it's about the only time I get to myself. She tries to talk but I can't hear her. I just nod my head and smile

    Default rust

Just make sure you take them out. Mine hold enough moisture between the muffler and the header rust pitted my headers.
