    I believe he said $1900 to $2300 depending, that is a great price!

    Why are SS so much more than a regular set of headers? Is it the materials? Harder to build? Not trying to knock em' at all just curious.

    The merge collectors on that set of headers are pricey all by themselves....sure there are other reasons as well. Last time I bought stainless rod a decade or more ago it was bout 110 bucks .

    Raw stainless materials are about triple that of carbon steel, it's more difficult to work with i.e. bending, and welding. Stainless is a mixture of chromium and nickel. Both expensive elements.

    Bassett used to make their twistys from
    Stainless
    Two of my friends have them
    They were built in the 80's and still look
    New
    Be nice if they offered them again
