    Default Seating?

I have a new project a 1970 kona 19' and I don't know how I want to do the seats. Looking for some ideas. I don't know if I want to buy some front seats or build the front and rear seats together. If yall could post some pics of your seating arrangement I would appreciate it. old pic all the wood has been redone no new pics yet

i have the typical old school side by side seating arrangement. i think it works well and gives me a lot of space in the middle for things like an EZ up.

however i think i wouldve liked to do the bench seat with buckets in the front. people seem to be more comfortable when they're sitting facing forward. i have the space for it, but ive seen some boats with benches that are sooo cramped it doesnt even look like theres room for a foot between the seats let alone legs.

i think a good idea would be to take some cardboard and do a trial run with different seating. make sure you have room for coolers, anchors, fire extinguishers, etc. also dont forget about cubbies under seats, little pockets for cupholders, sunscreens, sunglasses, and most important speakers. i ended up having to put in a bulkhead just so i had something to mount speakers to.
