    Default alternator mounting pics

    Looking for a few ideas for alternator bracket mounts. Post a pic of your alternator setup. Mine is already mounted, Im just looking for a nicer setup.......

    I tried the same request and didn't receive much response. However there is a link in this post with some trick prefabbed brackets with heims I may use.

    Here is mine. I think it is a Dana Marine that I had to massage a little on the mill to get it to fit correctly.

    If you don't have a back seat, the direct drive unit from Rex is awesome.

    You need to overlook the rest of the stuff necessary on an outdrive boat, but this Rex low mount is pretty nice

    From my old boat, direct drive. Takes up a lot of space. Current boat has the same setup, alternator slides under the back seat. Im gonna ditch it and run a belt, having to remove the alternator so I can to a valve adjustment sucks.
