Default Inducer for a 21' Liberator Daytona

I used the search deal 1st. Nada.

I have a 21' Liberator Jetboat. Blown 515 BBC. Berkeley JG bowl. I've been wanting to do this for years. All the arguments I have read seam to say there will be no loss at top end. I know that I can push the pedal down now and just barely move.

With that said, I'm planning on adding an inducer.
1st What brand will work off the bench.
2nd Where can I get it?
3rd does anyone have any advice on the set up on an older 21' hull? Inducer wise?

Before the blower addition this boat would plain quickly. Added weight and increased RPMs have changed all that. I want that back if possible.

What are you running for an impeller? I have run mine with and with out. With an MPD legend stainless 'A' I have not seen any difference to speak of on the big end. The off idle stuff maybe a touch. Now when I was running a smaller impeller I noticed a better bite out of the hole with the inducer. Of course if I just mash the gas from a dead stop nothing will work any how. The one I have I believe is a DP? Got it from Jack.

I have the same Impeller, MPD legend stainless 'A' along with the MPD Loader. I understand from a dead stop its just going to spin. Before the blower was added the boat would pull hard from a dead stop. If I could get a 1/4 of that back I'd be more than happy.

All this was based on a fresh pump.

Thanks guys for the Info. The DPS seamed to be harder to find. What about these HM Inducers?

The HM inducer is that one to have at this time. Ervin Capps can get you a good deal on one. 1-479-981-9241

You are welcome to try mine and if you like it I will make you a deal on it. I don't believe you are going to find what you are looking for? What is your total intake opening right now?

A HM inducer will get you going in the right direction. What intake in is the boat? I went from a MPD prepped HM inducer, MPD prepped impeller and a meirsch intake to the same inducer and a larger impeller coupled with a MPD low pro intake and a bennett bottom and the difference is night and day. before it used to just blow away the pump. Now with the correct parts when I jump on it I can't really get the pump to slip. Having Jack detail the AA stainless impeller recently really helped a lot.

Loaders can affect the pump too on a holeshot. Different ramp angles and length can play a part. Lots of factors on these boats. Loading on the top end I found to be the easier part of the equation. Getting them to move out of their own way on the hit is a bit harder.

The one thing I have been told, when looking at the inducer head on, the vanes cannot over lap for them to work on a 21fter.

I dont know what intake is installed in boat. I know before the blower was added this boat would pull hard from a dead stop. Plane instantly.

    Maximus, do you have pics?

Since I just got serious about this I havent checked cost anyone know what a new HM or DPS sells for? Tuff to make an offer when I personally dont know what they go for.

    Really appreciate the advice here.

I run the same inducer on the 21 as the 19. Both with great results.

I do not believe the DPS overlaps as well.
