    Default HP vs. Top Speed thread.

    Interested in what guys are running hp wise in what boat resulting in top speed. Should get things going a bit around here.

    19 Daytona 1450hp - 148 mph
    21 Daytona 1100hp - 115 mph
    Boat 405.

    California Performance 18 502hp - 96.1mph. This at Lost Lake Resort, Ca. Upriver of course, with Garmin gps, from the short bush to the wire.

    Rouse 19'. 750 hp 93 mph, 150 shot...102 mph, 250 shot...too damn cold outside to find out.

    Cheyenne (splash of a splash). 700hp=103mph, 800hp=108, 1050 or so hp=118 or so mph. mileage may vary.

    Can-Am Gullwing 800 lb. hull, big boned, but aerodynamic driver (260) 461 iron bbc 11-1, aluminum headed, single carb.

    Estimated 600hp + 36 jet = 116 mph on the river.

    Heres the funny part, It will only do 86 on motor alone.

    Little motor, big time junkie for the $hit.

    19' winger, full interior lake boat. Around 850 HP. Best pass @ 103 on the GPS

    19' TPR Cheyenne, 780 HP. Dont know the MPH, hadn't rode in it yet

    18' Weiman, full interior, sbc 377 impeller to big to get to max hp of around 600. 75 mph.
