    Default Plumbing

What is the most common size of hose used to plumb a boat? My pump starts out with 1/2" so i was thinking -8 and the dump use -10 ??

Sound about right, this is for a BBC

    -8 in -8 out.

Whatever size you use make sure both in and out are the same size.

Once I got the hard plumbing done I went with 5/8" blue heater hose for intake and output.

Yeah i would use that push lock hose but it only comes in BLUE

If i could find it in black, it would save me a ton of $$

I've seen it in black, blue, and red at Jegs, I think.

My in is 1/2" (-8) and my out is 5/8" (-10)

Sav, I've used -8 for the water inlet and fuel lines and -10 for my water outlets. Never a problem and what I'll be running with the new motor as well. John
