Default 39 Year Old Floor & Bow Dingleberries

Decided it was time to remove the floor in my 74 Rogers as it is pretty soft. After talking with Jim at Cyclone about his Rogers I decided I should take a look in the bow. I didn't know about the bags of dingleberries in there and if they are wet could be significant weight. Drilled a hole to take a look and this is what I got.

Gonna take my time and clean it all out, then maybe I throw a truck inner tube up there just in case.

    What a mess.
At Rogers we had a large overhead hopper that held the Styrofoam balls and had a little valve at the bottom. We used a continuous roll of plastic bags and also had this little, I don't know what the hell it's name was, but it was a little bar about 1/4 inch in diameter that was hinged and it heated up like a soldering gun but not to that high of temp. It would melt the plastic tubing so we could make our own long plastic bags. Heat one end, fill with foam, heat the other end shove in nose.

Hey, it was coast guard approved too!

    Mess is right

Interesting though, good idea at the time. Gonna see Dingleberries in my dreams. These things are here to stay in my yard.

What do you guys use to coat the inside. Something simple I can brush on, prefer black in color.
