where did you guys get your valve covers? i need to replace a set on a SBC. was hoping to go polished aluminum tall with no baffles. Do the baffles really make a difference?

I just hit the "Buy it Now" on these... And bought the Steel Core reusable Gaskets which he included for no extra shipping.

Here's the Same style for SBC ... These appear to be really nice covers. I love the Welded Aluminum look too.

Let me know how they work out for ya cause I'm still looking for another set of aluminum valve covers for mine. But I'm still a little gun shy from my last eBay fabricated valve cover experience.

    Thanks.

Sounds good ... I will let you know. I am also a little skeptical but I'm willing to try em for the money. If they and up being really nice its going to be a great buy.

May try PMing Greaser, here on the boards about some of those fabbed valve covers. He has a set on his Ford that look really nice. Cannot for the life of me remember where he got 'em though.

This pic doesn't show them as clear as I would have liked, but it was all I had on this computer.....

In that case, just get some duct tape

If that leaks too much, try here, they have fabricated, stamped, and in between:

I went to Summit Racing as well. Got a pair of tall cast aluminums for not too much $$$$ and they worked out pretty good. They look nice as well.
