    Default The "A" in impellar?

I have several impellars. I searched this site to find my answer but no luck. I know that its common to find impellars that when re-cut are not usually re-stamped. My question is: How to ID an A from an AA in regards to what is stamped into the casting? Are the letters next to each other? I have some stamped A 2, A A but they dont sit next to each other. So are these A's or AA's ?

    Default by the edge

See how the upper edge of vane is even with the impeller that's an A. If it sticks out beyond the face its a AA or bigger. If the edge of the vane angles in more its a A/B, B or smaller. I think the is a chart on JBP's site with dementions and angles.

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.
