    Talking

Why would you want a slower boat that's heavy in the ass with less room in it...?

Less room...??? definitly... slower???... not likely!!! Truth be told, I have had a Stevens shovel nose = no room, then bought a flat that was set up for going in circles with the motor in backwards = still no room and couldn't use my motor, then bought a 20.5 Advantage here on the boards and had plenty of room but it was too slow and with the enclosed motor compartment still couldn't use my motor.... so this will accomodate all needs

Not sure how heavy your hull is but would you consider a nasty little small block?
A friend (had) a 21 Liberator (Daytona Splash) w/a wacker...and I just couldn't get over how light and aired out the boat was on plane just cruising around while I was breaking water up at the drivers seat! And on the bottle his busted 100 with ease!!!
I bought my 21 Daytona because it was a "21 Daytona" and a rare find on the central East Coast. If it had a clip-on the back I still would have still bought it but after seeing how my friends 21 tunnel performed I seriously doubt I would ever considered cutting a hole in the bottom...just saying.

*Good luck and enjoy your project.

What did you do, step behind a kicking horse?? No biggy. Is that boat the same that screwy at kachina built. I know screwy and kecker (?) tryed the race thing back in the 90's. The boat had a set back like the one in the pic. Are they the same hull design? Looks the same. Well other than the fact that the person who shot your boat wasn't doing a bong or crack at the time.
