    Default It's alive!!!!

Still a couple of things to sort out from the top end rebuild but it's up and running. Didn't have to paddle it back onto the trailer!!!!!
Took it to the lake with two other couples. Did pretty good despite having 5 coolers, 6 people and all the other stuff that goes along with a day on the lake.

Ran pretty good. Just have to make some adjustments. I've got the mech adv set up stock until I had the cam broken in. Once I get that set up and put a little more adv on it then I've got to dial in the carb.

    Overall I was pretty happy.

If things work out it'll be in a year or two. I'm trying to talk her into Mar-Don next year for our 25th anniversary.

I think so, it's just convincing her that it would be a good present!!! She keeps saying that she wants to go back to Washington!!!

By the way, you're not too far from where we use to live; we where in what's now Covington. It's was unincorporated Kent back then.

There wasn't much out there when we lived there. The Von's was new when we moved there. I use to love to go to Rooter's BBQ. Is it still there? If I remember it correctly there was a place called the Dinner House on the way out to Black Diamond. It had an awesome Sunday brunch.
