I purchased a basic kit from Caswell and it came with this
blue rouge that is the best final polish I have ever seen.
I polished a rough piece and did the step by step
then hit it with this blue and WOW. so I tried it on a polished piece
that I bought new and it made it look even better.
I like the Mothers power ball liquid to hand finish it.

I like Mothers as well. But I hate polishing, so I took sandpaper to everything and gave it all the brushed look.

WENOL. Works great and lays down a coating that makes wet stuff bead up. My aluminum rims have loved me for using it on them. Haven't touched them in almost 2 months are they are only just now starting to dull a bit.

    Thumbs up

For years I've used and liked > WENOL-red for removing any stains from the surface and WENOL-white for the micro polishing.
HOWEVER...for a final buff I've come to find Meguiars All Metal Polish (light blue) offers a deeper more reflective mirrior finish than the other products I've used. It's also a (little) easier to remove/buff off.

I just switched to Flitz and really liking the results! Not only for the aluminum but also for the whole boat-

I was using Magic Aluminum Polish-

I think it boils down to how much time you want to spend as there are many very good products out there.

Ive used mothers mag & alum. polish for years on all my trucks cars and boats, and all my buddies always ask why my stuff shines more than there's. But they still won't buy the stuff because there is always something better. I've used a lot of products and always go back to mothers.
