Great weekend even though I got clubbed in both classes first round.

Struggled a little bit with 8.0 qualifying on Sat. ended up #6 with an 8.11, qualified with an 8.04 in UBFJ. Cut either .0 or .1's all weekend and was real happy about that, been struggling with that all season. Made a few changes to help my r/t's and it worked awesome. That new timing system is just bad ass!

Had a great race with Roadstrom Jr. Sat. morning in round 1 of bracket. Dude tattooed me on the tree with a .002 light to my .14, I went 8.04 to his .08 and I was on the trailer. It was a bad ass drag race.

Left the track real happy, made some real good changes to the boat and we are slowly getting this thing where we want it. Really looking forward to October.

Thanks To Mike F. for the help in the pits, your the man Mike. Also want to thank Jeff Bennet for stopping by and helping me with the hardware, thanks guys.

Hi Chris, sounds like some great racing. How did you like the wing? Did you notice any difference and if you did what were they (good or bad). Did you make any adjustments while at the track? Something I always wanted to do on our jet but never got around to it.

    Thanks Neil

Hey Neil. We played with the wing angle a few times, even took it off for a few runs. It didnt make a whole lot of difference, the times i really noticed it was when the wind came up, i was able to get through stuff i normally couldnt. I also noticed less wind in my face during a run, kinda weird.

To be honest I thought it would affect the boat in a different way.

Over all I had a great weekend. We struggled quite a bit on Saturday but seemed to put a pretty good program together for Sunday.

The best pass we made was a 9.38 at 107mph w/ very little n20.

Kjell tree'd me to take the win in the 9.50 finals w/ his .1 to my .4. I ran a 9.51 and he ran a 9.56 and that was that.
Kjell great race I look forward to doing it again in October!

I would like to thank Mud Pumper, and 76Miller for their help around the pits and putting me in the water all weekend. I would also would like to thank CS for all his help in getting the 017 boat to where it is.

Congrats to Heitman on taking the win in the 10 second bracket.
Also would like the congratulate RCB19 for running some very respectable numbers and cutting some great lights through out the weekend.

Most importantly congrats to PattyMelt on the new baby boy!!! I know you were bummed on missing the race but there will always be another one. See you there in October!!

Jordan, you were all over the place Saturday, but you sure got that thing dialed sunday and put on a good show in the 9.50 final. Very close race

Congrats to Kjell on locking up the 9.50 bracket for 2008
