Default Great Reaction Times - NJBA Sept Race 2008

    September 23, 2008

    Hello People,

Just wanted to say that if you were not at the NJBA races September, you missed it, with the new light system; many drivers were cutting very good lights.

During qualifications, in the Blown Gas Jet category,
149 Tsunami Willis Johns .070 RT
249 Flaming Attitude Ron Fuentes 0.046 RT
417 Place Your Bet Jeff Smith 0.026 RT
It was a great weekend for me.

    The next race is Oct. 18 & 19, 2008

    Willis

I think the lights were definately OFF
I cut my first perfect light

We had a great time minus a lifter taking a shit on run 4 Saturday. It was nice to see some new faces and meet the new board members. For the first time since i started racing racing NJBA (8 years ago) its nice to feel the club is reaching out to the racers.

Tony, my hat is off to you and your crew, as well as everyone who pitched in to help. I remember standing there thinking, there is no way these guys will be done before 2am, that is if they can pull it off. Then Sunday you run some great numbers. Insane... very cool and you get much respect from me.

I didn't meet you (at least I do not remember), but I remember hearing the name of your boat being announced, made me laugh every time. Cool name!

I think the new lights are awesome.

I'm getting very close to cutting them down

my rt's this weekend were a best of .020 and a worst of .114 and one red light of .002
not to mention three .086 lights in a row

The lights were really good. Everybody involved deserve a big thank you.
Sunday night, after the race, I had drinks with the red cup boys. All of you guys have some bad ass jets. In all of my years racing, I have always been able to run down the jets in our class, but not this time. Bandys boat left a little early, but it hauled the mail and I thought I was drilled. Tom, you have a bad ass boat that would seriously put the hurt to just about any of them. I was really impressed with CS-19s boat, 8.0s, he will be tough. John D, Joe Morgans bad ass ride. I am rambling, but you guys have some serious ***** and be damn proud. It was good meeting all of you.
