    Anybody local have a snoot i can borrow, i have a droop now, going out this weekend would like to see what a snoot does to the boat.

    does your boat porpoise alot with the droop? im kinda wanting to try a snoot also for my v hull.

    It does alittle bit, started when i added a loader and picked up a few MPH. I need to play with loaders too...

    I'm just curious how a snoot will make the boat run.

    Have you tried with just the factory nozel setup? Adding a snoot can put more torque on the rear of the hull and create said porpois. Would be the easiest, cheapest to try for now?

    No, i dont have the stock nozzle housing peice. This boal was a JG i had converted so when the conversion was done i bought the droop so i had somthing to attach my nozzle too

    The thread is alittle confusing. You have a droop snoot and what to try stock??? I have a stock and want to try droop!!! M

    I have the stock Berkeley housing piece for a JG pump. The one that hooks bowl and to your'e nozzle and steering gear. SO what do you have???? M

    I'm leaving in the morning, thanks though, i'll have to take you up on that offer maybe my next trip. My droop is in use now, but during winter when i tear the boat down, your welcome to try my droop!

    As far as that goes, if you need a stock piece It is in my pile growing cob webs. As I said it's spare parts. M
