Default advantage Banchee anyone seen one run fast?

I have ran eliminator scorpions and I know that the parellel bottom does not work well.Advantage banchee which is a copy but has stepped outer sponsons so I would think it would work well at speed, the outer sponons would free up.But I never see them run.

We built many more jet Banshee's than outboards, but the outboards ran much better than the jet. Very wet ride unless you're running lots of hp. We ran one with a near stock, single carbed sbc with a OMC King Cobra I/O at either 116 or 118 mph to get the ETII record in the kilo back in the mid to late 80's, record still stands as far as I know. Good hull, just takes gobs of power to make it run right with a pump.

Thanks for the info Old rigger! I am thinking of taking a scorpion and changing the outer sponsons similar to the banchees then doing some small mods to the center pod.I currently have 19 daytona but I always liked the look of the banchee/scorpion.I have some good power about 1200 hp blown 598,but the end result I hope runs as fast or faster then the daytona. What is you thoughts?
