    Default my cheyenne

well i finally got to a cheyenne. unfortunately my buddy had to sell due to health reasons.not the circumstances i wanted to buy this boat but he's welcome to drive or ride ANYTIME he wants.now its time for me to care for this hot rod.heres the deets.505 chevy, dart pro 1 heads, dart intake, forged internals eagle 4340 crank, scat rods, srp pistons 13to 1 ,comp solid roller 748 in,714 out,lsa110,duration278 in,286 out, ,single e85 dominator,AT 309 ,aggressor C,droop/diverter,ratchet,v blocker loader, and tapered shoe,i dont know how much it weighs but ill guess medium weight, its no tater chip.any way 101 on gps was the best . of course im lookin for more.the shoe and intake arent set up right.the shims arent made right so its pretty "un smooth" entry into the intake.also the shoe doesnt mate up with the intake fins at all ,good 3/8 gap there.so my big q's are what shoe and loader are other people using with good success?thanx in advance .more pics to comeName: photo-27.JPG

    Default Nice Boat!

    You gonna love it.

I run a flat shoe .500 thick shimmed to around .700, 13.5" on the mouth opening. Plate @ 2 deg. up nozzle 1.5 down. (fixed place diverter)

Stark @ B1 Racing makes a real nice loader, I run one of his. He would be better to talk to about loader specifics.

    I also run a 505 bbc.

Good luck with it. I hope this helps.

Nice! That is my old boat. Was also owned by unchained. That was a fun boat, wish I could have kept it. Enjoy and post some more pics.

How are you guys running so hard with air entrapment tunnels with down nozzle????? I mean i know they leave hard that way but how are yall achieving bow angle with down nozzle?

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

I never really played with setup too much. I mostly added HP. When I got it it had a basic 454 in it and it ran 74mph. I then added a PFM twin turbo system to that engine and it ran 86mph. Once I hurt that engine I put the 505 in it and ran that for 1/2 a summer and sold it to buy a fountain. I only ran it up to 96 once.

For some reason I seem to remember you are close to Dallas, TX. I paid ~$350 to have my pump, rail kit and motor plates along with a few other pieces. Richard at DFW Coating did a great job for me. He recently did a few pieces for FL350 also. He was very pleased as well.
