Default Info needed on a Jacuzzi pump

I have seen the wj and yj pumps. The pump i came across was a Jacuzzi 12px j/a. It does not look like either the wj or yj. I will post some pics soon. It looks similar to a berk E pump. The intake is like a panther pump that is made into the boat. The impeller looks similar to a berk one but has no lip to use a puller to remove. The bowl had a adapter plate that a berk nozzle adapter and diverter where installed.

Does anybody have any history on these i can not find anything online yet. Thanks

Sounds like the Golden Eagle Hybrid they produced for a short period. It was a cross between Golden Eagle type suction, original bowl and nozzle based on WJ parts and the impeller was a more aggressive performance version of the WJ impeller called a PX. They referred to it as the Piranha.

Thanks for the info. Is the bowl the same as a wj?

The bowl is basically the same as a WJ, the vanes are cut deeper to allow the extra length of the impeller and the shaft support bushing is different for the smaller shaft.
