Default Needdles Hot Boat / Car Show aftermath

I personally want to thank all of you jet boaters that showed up at the event. I hear all the time from guys... "you hate jet boats Chief". "You really dont want us there"...Untrue. What I'm really trying to do with this show is bring back the style of boat I grew up around. And bring awareness to this style of boating. My dad had two outboards & two jet boats during that time. The 2nd jet boat my dad & I were partners in. Some of you have seen the pictures of that boat. 1980 Sanger Sprint. Boss 429 Ford for power. Trick install by "Bernie's Boat works". Big time install shop back in the day. GS marine did the pump & shoe. I did the bottom. Stock deal ran 88mph at a NJBA event at Parker in 1982. An event in which I won my class. So its not that I don't like jet boats. I just want bitchen boats to show up. Doesn't matter if its a v-drive, jet or OB. Tom Peterson, Greg Shoemaker, Tom Papp, (R.I.P), & I'm sure there are other jet boat specialist who do beautiful boats for customers. These are the type of boats that I'm looking for. This is not to say there aren't other badd ass jets out there. So please don't feel your not wanted. I'm hoping to see more nice jets there next yr. Thanks again .....Billy B

Looked like an awesome show Billy, gets bigger every year. Wish I could have made it out there this year. My buddy Drake had his rear driven blown Hallett Vector jet deal there and said it was a great event.. Next year for sure........

Billy, you mean I didn't have to buy a flat to attend? Now what am I going to do with the thing?

Thanks Billy. We always enjoy your events. I know how much work it is for you to do them, not to mention all the great boats that show up.

Very cool post Billy. Good on you for promoting the River Lifestyle and giving back to the City of Parker.

The pics of your events show it's clearly a must see. Hopefully in a year or two we can come check it out.............john
