Default Comp Cams Xtreme Marine XM278H

Anyone in the 9.5:1 comp ratio range run one of these cams? If so, what brand of impeller and cut are you running and what's your max RPM with said impeller cut?

XM 278 H and 7.2:1 rollers in a 468 BBC open chamber ported ovals, 10.5:1, 850 double pumper, MSD, Headers....Runs to 4900 RPM with a tight (read loader and stuffer on a fresh pump) alum. A 19 foot jet at sea level for me, timed straight up...

XM278 with roller rockers 10.5:1 comp 750 DP. I did it late in the season (after a valve spring gave way) so I've only had it out a couple of times since. I had backed down the timing until everything was broken in. I was running about 4800 RPM. We're at 4500' altitude. It was the most responsive the engine had ever been. I'm wondering if I'm a little under carbed at 750. I might have to see about an 850.
