    Default BBC oil pan/dipstick Q

Is the dipstick tube broken off in this pan or is this a sleeve/support that's built into the pan?

Not sure.....previous owner stashed it indoors. I had it outdoors for a couple weeks before bringing it in, probably where the rust came from. Oil looked good when I drained it.
