He did get to squeeze it on sunday. He went to the in-ramp for the 8.50 class final and his competition broke. So he asked for some extra time to go back to the pits to disconnect the nitrous timer since he couldn't lose with no competition to race. He took some water away from the jet pump in the pits to make sure the boat would go all the way down the track and then we wired the n20 to activate when he wanted it on instead of using the timer. He squeezed it right after the tree with a small shot all the way down the track and ran an 8.24 at 125 mph. The boat unhooked a few times after a thousand feet.

He was so psyched that he went back to the pits to make some hardware changes to give the pump more water. He said it wasn't pulling really hard on that pass.

He took a safety pass and forgot to open the reverse bucket at the starting line so that ate up a few feet of the start. But then he squeezed it again at the tree and went 8.22 at 128 mph on the first pass for his boat to ever go from a to b without unhooking. he was pretty fired up about the whole weekend and that just put the icing on the cake for him. The new motor is bitchin. It ran flawless all weekend. Time to turn up the wick!

All the hard work and sleepless nights paid off for him. Great job Mike and the rest of the winners. Seems like everyone was struggeling a bit on saturday, but pulled it together for sunday. Awsome!!!
