And even better than that............ http://www.lutescasino.com/
Other end of town near the colorado river bridge, but worth it if you ever have time to waste. One of the best in Yuma.
Make your reservations well in advance. The snowbirds have started to infiltrate.
thanks microtel looks good and will check out lutes casino when we get to town
I can't believe that Lutes has a web site. That place is great.

There'll be the Paradise casino/resort next year.
Lutes is as old as you can get. There are much nicer and newer hotels in Yuma off of I-8 and 16th Street.
Technology..... bringing the history of Yuma to the internet.
Back in the day Chretins was the bomb! The old Chretines was on 4th Avenue and one down on 8th street. Can't forget Lujano's Pizza either. The guy that originally owned it was die hard duner and ended up getting killed out there. Never the same since but I believe its still around.
The Mine Shaft, pretty cool. Was there the last time I was in Yuma, thats not so new though? Ever go to "Older But Wiser" ?When I grew up there the bars were "Bojangles" out by the base, "Johnny's" and the "Back Room & Saddle Club" My father in law owned both of those. Wow, what memories.
Make sure you go to the NEW mineshaft and not the "renovated" one!Renovated is putting it lightly...
The Mine Shaft you mention is now called "The Closet"you can probably guess by the new name as what type of bar it is
(don't want to get caught coming out of it) haha a lot of non locals are in for a rude awakening when coming in town for summer or winter activities! bummer as it was a pretty fun bar. The new mineshaft is located about a half mile down the road on the opposite side of the road closer to the Yuma Park and Swap. A lot bigger and up to date Two bars one inside and one outside along with a swim up bar, shooting arcade along with lots of other drunken games and is huge for a yuma bar that is!
Lots of good times to be had...
America is all about speed. Bad ass nasty speed. Eleanor Roosevelt said that.
sheezus i was wasted when i typed that at two this morning... didnt even remember it haha!
"i'm into snatchin' kisses... and vice-versa!" haha
