    Default 19 CP No filter

Hello every one. Need some help on a new to me boat. Just bought it from a guy and all he could tell me about it was it was too fast for him.He had no real info, history, or specs on it (Not a Jet guy)... Ive seen this boat a lot before on the forum and it apears to be set up very well. Im going over everything IE changing seals, greasing fittings good coat of wax etc. Added a diverter too. Anyway, Im about to do an oil change and im running in to this. All my other boats in the past have either had a spin on filter on the block or on a remote filter housing. Not the case on this one. anyone seen this before? It looks like a oil cooler to me. What is it? Is there some form of filter inside? Any help would be great. Thanks

Do those two lines lead to the place on the block where an oil filter would normally go? An oil cooler has four lines, oil in and out, water in and out. It's probably a filter, though I've never seen one like that.

Concord, NC but, I'm a So-cal transplant.. Ive been here 7 years and only seen two other jet boats on the lakes. If you do see a performance boat, is usually something 32+' with twin IO's. Just suprising because there are so many street rodders and NASCAR people here. You would think it would carry over more to the water...

Bought the boat from a guy in Georgia who bought it back in June from another guy in Georgia who I beilive was the owner of it when it was in So-cal.
Like I said, Im pretty sure Ive seen this boat on the forum a few times. Not to sure of how it wound up in GA. Just looking for insight on when it was redone, history, motor specs etc. Thats the hardest part of buying a old boat. They can change hands so many times. I don't have to tell you that. Judging by the set up, someone gave it some love. Now its my turn.

Where is Gn7 on this one? I was expecting the "some people screen their oil and some people filter it! " , comment. I'm disappointed.
