Suction cup....good for up to 200 mph. Easy to pull and move if dont like it. Or you can get the handle bar grips or something along the lines but aftermarket. Face at rhe front of the boat, engine, you. Looking to get out and use mine finally this summer and those are the ways I'm goung to be doing using it. It's really limitless.

Get yourself a suction cup mount. They work really good, you can move it around to film whatever you want. Once you have the videos on the SD card you just put it in your computer and edit the films. I think I use the windows movie maker, or maybe it is windows media center to edit the films.

The lucas film crew just put some duct tape over the suction cup. It stays on every boat.

I use clear tape over the suction if im concerned where its at. Lucas film crew use black duct tabe or sometimes black athletic tape and they both work great. When we had a data logger issue, I put one camera in front of the gauges (they are mounted back by the engine) and one on the tach. Worked great for oil, boost, and rpm!

Windows live movie maker is the best editing software I've used. It's better than GoPro software and a few others.

I have a Hero 3, suction cup, no issues, no tape, make sure YOU are the one that messes with it, Piston in the Wind donated one to Lake Catherine last year...allegations of user error, windows media player is useless on my PC with my gopro videos, maybe its my processor speed, but I use VLC media center (free online download) I do basic editting through youtube, a movie maker software of some sorts would be awesome... don't want to push my PC, one too many crashes. One day I may get fancy with my videos, Those Guys Racing puts some cool ones together.
