They are built for drag racing.

They are best suited for closed race courses, not open lakes.

They are very unpredictable on shut down, and have a tendency to "hook" (turn instantly left or right when you come off the gas on shutdown) and one day it WILL pitch you out in the water.

Per dollar, and per HP... They do holeshot and ET extremely well.

I`ve got 3 of them and 1 for sale. If you`re looking for a lake only boat, forget it and go farther. Its a straight line boat and hates rough water. Otherwise if you want a dragboat/maybe occasional lake boat i don`t know of a quicker hull anywhere. The danger is shutdown in bad water and maybe an engine failure at wot. I`ve been running a TT in the 10 second class for 7 years and i watch the water in front of me like a hawk. For comparison the boat i have for sale is a MSDBA 2001-02 high point champion in the 11 second class. Had a 468 in it then but now has a 489 and runs a 10.20 . White gel, berkeley with inducer, B impeller, race nozzle, nice chrome fendered tandem axle trailer with american eagle alloy wheels. Cooper white letter radials. I`d pull the engine, headers and ignition and sell it for $4k.
