    Default Hydraulic Pump Mounting

How are you guys mounting your Place Diverter Hydraulic Pump ? It came with some joke of a mount which wouldn't prevent it from bouncing around. I don't have any ply wood glassed into the transom so it looks like I'm going to have to mount it to the stringer but wanted some input before I start drilling holes. Any input appreciated.

the last three boats that had place diverters I used the mount
that came with it. works great, just mount it leaving the screws a little loose slide the pump on and tighten the screws. never had a problem.

I glassed a small piece of wood to the transom and used the mounting kit it comes with and it worked perfect. i tryed making a few brackets off the stringer it just wasnt clean at all.

I used existing thru hull bolts, from my tunnel plates. Made up an angled bracket from the tunnel plate bolts, to hold the pump assembly about an inch off the tunnel. I used the mounting bracket that came with the pump, bolted it to the aluminum bracket.

I use the same part you have. Just dab a little grease on it and keep your eye on it.

There was a guy on Hot boat that made some bitchen looking bracket, this was right before the sight took a shit so I never got his number.

same here. I had to mount it to the stringer, no room on the transom.

No, but if I put a PD back in my boat I will be running one.

Mine was on the stringer when I got the boat but I moved it under the jump seat. I used a block of wood and epoxyed it to the seat frame. I would love to have one of those billet brackets to replace the plastic one.
