Stage 8 has header bolt locks. Just a triangular place that slips over the hex of the bolt then is held on with a C clip. Triangular piece fits against the header tube and stops it from spinning. Used them on the hot rod not the boat yet.

    check these out.

Header studs work for me. Plus no fighting to hold header up when mounting them.

I got aviation bolts. Socket head cap screws with the holes drilled in the top. Tighten them up and coil wire between the whole side. Looks bitchin like a fighter plane. Also use these bolts and run a copper gasket the fiber type tends to expand and contract more.

Fought that probelm for 2 year's until I mentioned it to my dad who was an old time hot rodder. Studs and brass nuts.. no washers, fine thread stud's and brass nuts and they don't back off even after many Nos passes.

Fine thread studs, metal self-locking nuts (not Ny-locks), and Hi-Temp RTV.

    Never loosen, and no leaks.

These are the only way to go! We run em on every motor and never had an issue.

Do it right the first time and be done with it!
