What does it usually cost for CF numbers to be painted on?

I'm looking for painted. But I need someone who can take off the old numbers too. Does Lefty's do that?

I took my painted numbers off myself. Pretty easy. Get yourself some 400 and 1500 wet. Just take your time. Start with the 400 and carefully sand most of the lettering off. Keep it wet. Then hit it with the 1500 to get the area smoother and get any leftover lettering. Finish the area off with a compound. When I was done you couldn't even tell anything was there. I went with vinyl lettering but would like to have them painted eventually.

I had my cf numbers painted on years ago up here in nor cal. There was some painting on the back of the transom that I wanted removed I asked the guy if he could remove it so he sprayed easy off on it. The paint came right off in a matter of seconds and the gel coat was not affected. I don't think I would try this on a painted boat it might take all the paint off.

    X'3 on leftys pinstriping!!!!!

Easy off is the shit, comes off like butter. Just don't let it set to long, work in small areas.
